George was born on a bright, sunny July day in 1934. George lived a full and active life in Richmond, B.C., for nearly eighty years. Known for working hard and playing hard, he was also a long-time volunteer and board member at Thompson Community Centre in Richmond, B.C. He was predeceased by his parents and five sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne, with whom he shared sixty-eight years; his two children, Judi-Ann, and Norman; his seven grandchildren; and his four great-grandchildren. George passed away peacefully after a short battle with esophageal cancer. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Wisteria Place, 4388 Garry Street, Richmond, B.C.
