Lorraine Beverley

(Wilkes) St. Pierre

Year of Birth: 1948
Passed Away: November 26th, 2025

Lorraine Beverley St. Pierre was born in Belleville, Ontario to Paul Leo and Lena Daisy St. Pierre, the youngest of four children. She grew up alongside her sister Sandra and brothers Dennis and Wayne.

Lorraine raised her two sons, David and Vincent Wilkes, in Belleville. In 2012, after her sons had established their own lives and families, she moved west to Coquitlam, British Columbia to be closer to Vincent and his children, beginning a new chapter surrounded by family.

In 2019, she moved in with Vincent, where she found comfort in daily companionship. She adored her grandchildren — Kaitlyn, Cooper, Kiera, Chase, and Winter — who brought her joy and pride. Though Cooper and Kiera lived in Alberta following David’s military posting, Lorraine loved them deeply and cherished them across the distance. Her faithful cat Izzy was her constant companion, a source of warmth and affection. Lorraine also treasured her daily talks with her dear friend Shiela, which gave her strength and connection.

She was resourceful and creative, finding ways to bring joy in the simplest of things. She showed courage in moments that defined her, and her compassion left an indelible mark on those who knew her.

Lorraine is survived by her sons David (Melissa) and Vincent (Bonnee); grandchildren Kaitlyn, Cooper, Kiera, Chase, and Winter; siblings Sandra and Wayne; and beloved cat Izzy. She was predeceased by her brother Dennis.

Lorraine will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her bravery, and the steady light she brought into the lives of those around her.

Private family arrangements will be held to honour her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada in her memory.
